Plus there's a lack of Blender Amnesia tutorials.Doing a video would be a bit much effort but I could livestream if you want me too (no voice though my mic is shit)
Ok, yeah. Message me when you're ready. Thanks.

I have the solution for you:
Select your model in Object Mode, and select ALL THE FACES. Then, press Ctrl+T, this will triangulate your model. If the model isn't triangulated, the model will appear with triangulated holes.
Now: In Object mode, select your model (or all your objects, in case you have many) and go to Object<Apply and apply the scale, rotation, and location. You might want to transform the origin to the 3D cursor too.

If only those export options are appearing, then I assume you are using Blender 2.63 or 2.64. Don't change any of these.

If that didn't work, you can send me the model and I'll fix it for you.

I already told him to do that, so I suppose he has already done that

Not sure if it's been said before, but you need to unwrap your model to make the UV Coordinates. Click U then click Unwrap. Just unwrap.
[EDIT: Object is the mode I think.]

He has his models unwrapped. If he didn't have them unwrapped, the editor would crash (or simlpy, the textures wouldn't appear). As the textures appear, it isn't a problem with the unwrap.

And it's Edit Mode.
