Well, the only problem I see would be the computer hardware. By what I know, consoles are like a super-compressed gaming computer, that are only useful for that. If the emulator worked, the computer would need a VERY GOOD graphics card and CPU (and lots of other stuff that I don't know because I'm not a technic).

However, I don't see the point of a PS4 emulator: This would practically kill any merchandising PC gamers could have with the PS4... so I guess that web ain't oficial...

Good luck building an emulator off of hardware which isn't even released yet. Heck, even the emulator is slated for release before the release of PS4!

EDIT: @chaser: That's not the only point that emulator could never be real. See rest of my post for for details.

1) The PS4 has not even been released yet.
2) It would take years to make an emulator to support this kind of modern hardware.

Well, I agree with most of you, the new TCR game not coming to PC is a sort of news most grim. I really hope they know what they are doing. Not quite sure is this ambitious title worth making when you are collaborating with Sony and excluding the PC fanbase.

But it's not a Frictional game - it's being developed solely by The Chinese Room (and now Sony are involved too of course).

Edit: My bad, misread the post. I wonder if TCR had a chat with Frictional about their decision in order to get some additional feedback before they decided? If they did then Frictional obviously didn't manage to swing TCR's decision.
