Possible fix solution for crash at startup
A few people have reported that the game crashes at start up, and we think we know the issue.
If you are having this problem, disconnect any gamepads and then start the game.
Please report here if this works or not, so we know we if are on the right track.

RE: Possible fix solution for crash at startup
No, its not a fix. I reconnected (not disconnected) all my USB controlers, cameras, USB tools, the game still has CTD after launch.
Restart of Win - same, CTD too on startup.
For me its not a solution - "disconnect all You controlers", sorry. I didnt see it as requirements to play A:AMFP. Please fix this bug.

Disconnect them completely, don't unplug then plug them back in.

RE: Possible fix solution for crash at startup
So it's getting worse, I tried closing and opening steam and now I can't even open steam because this pops up:
"Steam- Fatal Error
Steam Failed to load *steamStartEngine (0x12fb58) failed with error 1: Cannot open blob archive file: CMultiFieldBlob (mem-mapped file): Failed to open"
Never in my life have I seen this

RE: Possible fix solution for crash at startup
In some cases you have to restart the computer to make it work. Yes, this is not the "final" solution, there is an update in the works.

Okay, so if you disconnected everything except for mouse and keybord, restart your computer. Then close your antivirus program and close other unnecessary background problems.

RE: Possible fix solution for crash at startup
Restarting with just the mouse and keyboard plugged in, and it still crashed. Hopefully the fix that is being worked on right now fixes the crash I'm having anyway.
