Can't Load Main Menu

Hello,
I've got some issues with the game. Essentially, it takes 5-10 minutes for the main menu/new profile window to load, and when it finally appears, it completely freezes. PS: Fraps shows 0FPS on the 'New Profile' window.

I've tried reinstalling the game, restarting the computer, checking video drivers, lowering video settings to the absolute minimum. Nothing works.

Don't hesitate to ask for any other needed details.

Oh man, I had a look at your HPL Log and I think there is a problem with your game files.

Try to download the game again.

I've updated my video drivers with the latest beta drivers from the AMD website, and it seems to work properly now, atleast through the main menu. I didn't bother getting the beta drivers before, because Steam said my AMD drivers are up-to-date.

I suggest you to check your drivers update once a week.

Most probably you had corrupted drivers. By installing the beta ones you "fixed" them. I think that the latest stable drivers will now work as well after a clean install.

General tip, lower your resolution to 1280x720 or equivalent, solves a ton of FPS problems and the game runs smoothly.
