Game Runs, But Crashes Not Far In Game

After starting the game, I was able to go through the first area of the game, like the attic and down stairs, but as soon as I hit a door that would give me access to a whole new "area map" the game looks like it's loading, but then crashes with not warning at all.

Is anybody else experiencing that?

Unfortunately, I've tried this method for other games, and all my drivers are all updated already. Sad

The crash is due to the game running on the integrated graphics, which is not supported. Can try to run at lower settings or check and make sure it really is using the latest drivers.

Just finished checking the drivers, and found they were up to date. Running the game on a lower setting does not work as well.

You haven't provided us with the HPL.log to verify that you indeed have an Intel HD graphics card but due to the problem's nature you most probably have one. Anyway, set the graphics to medium or low before that area and it should work according to other user's experiences.

However, keep in mind that Intel cards are not supported and can often be the source of problems while playing.
