Crashes When Entering New Stage

Right after your first encounter with the giant pig thing and you sneak past him to enter the "Next Stage" door, a fatal error pops up. It says,

Code: (Select All)

FATAL ERROR: Could not load world file 'maps/main/C:/Users/dan@thechineseroom/Desktop/amnesia/Game/redist/maps/06_factory.map'.

I'm confused how this could happen if the game was running so smoothly.

Please post the hpl.log file as described in the troubleshooting guides.

There is a permission issue, I think, the game can not reach/read the files of the game.

Do you play your games in your Administrator account?

Yeah, I play it through Steam and there are no other accounts on the computer.

"Right Click on the Game -> Run As Administrator"

Try this.

Is this on Steam? Can you do a verify game cache integrity and see if that helps? Right-click on the game, pick properties, go to the last tab.
