How do you post main_init.cfg and default_user_settings.cfg onto here?

Alright the files look like they should so nothing wrong there. Could try and use the exe I posted in previous post and see if it is capable of starting the game?

I feel I don't even have a clue what could be causing this. Maybe you can try turning off antivirus or similar if you have that running, in case it is blocking access to the final or something similar.

Here are the files requested.

Running aamfp_stutter works. I tested it up to just after the loading screen and a few seconds into the opening cinematic, but aside from that I have no idea (I can test it out more later, but I'm a bit occupied).

Your files also looks like they should. Good to hear that the exe was working for you. But not any closer to coming up with any suggestions as to why some get this with what seems to be steam only.

Run the game and create a new profile. Open the new profile and start a New Game. See if you can progress a bit without the issue you were having.

Remember: don't touch the previous profile and don't exit the game before trying to start a new game with the new profile.

Doing this did not work. I got the same fatal error.
