Solved: 10 Years, 2 Months ago [Solved]Problem when launching the game.

I have an error when i launch Amensia: a machine for pigs directly from the root folder. The error doesn't occur when i run it from the steamapplication but doesn't launch after pressing launchgame button at all.

The error goes like this: "D:\steam\steammaps\common\Machine for Pigs\
MSVCP100.dll is either missing not desinged to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the orginal
installation media or contact your system edministration or the software vendor for support."

I have tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling visual c++ and updating drivers. None of them helped the case.

My new pc seems to run the game fine, but the older one shows this issue.

The pc has Nvidia ENGT220 1GB DDR3 and Amd Athlon 7450 Dual Core CPU at 2.40 Ghz. And 4GB of ram.

I'll appreciate all kind of help relating to subject and thank in advance Wink

You may have to remove MSVCP100.dll from the game folder and let it use your system version. You may have to remove MSVCR100.dll and xinput1_3.dll as well.
