RE: HELP TEST AAMFP 1.02 PATCH

Adaptive vSync works properly if Fullscreen is disabled.
Edit: For people experiencing the fps locking to 40 occasionally, in main_settings.cfg set Engine LimitFPS to false. Now the game should not randomly lock to 40. I've only tested this with adaptive vysnc on and fullscreen disabled.

RE: HELP TEST AAMFP 1.02 PATCH
To disable fullscreen is not a good solution.
Probably it doesn't work for me, becsuse I have V-Sync disabled in nVIDIA driver.
But still no news about the patch?

RE: HELP TEST AAMFP 1.02 PATCH
Disabling fullscreen is a perfectly good solution or work around. If you use your native resolution, there will be no window border and there's no noticeable performance decrease. I suggest anyone with fps ranging from 30-60 fps to disable fullscreen and use adaptive vsync. However, if you can maintain a constant 60fps I suggest running fullscreen with standard vsync.

RE: HELP TEST AAMFP 1.02 PATCH
It might be working, but to disable fullscreen is not the right solution.
That V-Sync actually doesn't work properly is also one of the most unimportant issues of the patch.

Maybe for you. Every problem (1-4: important) is mentioned at #2, no need to argue which is worse or anything. When Jens has something new, he'll let us know. Until then, let's only report here about any new issues found.

It's an image effect like noise, blur etc...

The "blue haze" is not a bug or sth. It's a color grading effect appearing in the first mansion levels. Color grading is a nice and well looking effect all over the game, but we think at the first levels it's too blue and doesn't looking very well there. The color of the filter should get changed to a less blue one.

RE: HELP TEST AAMFP 1.02 PATCH
Is there approximate date of release of Update? In particular version that would update the game automatically via Steam.

RE: HELP TEST AAMFP 1.02 PATCH
I think there are two reasons why it takes so long:
- They redress the missing interactions on objects.
- We will get a small expansion like "Justine" for AMFP.
But they already have enough work with SOMA, so this seems a bit unlikely.
Hopefully we will get new information in January.
