I've never actually tried duck, but it looks significantly less gross and maggoty than shrimp.

Has anyone here eaten insects? I mean, on purpose?

We have duck all the time over here. There's nothing wrong with it at all. Tastes just like a slightly modified chicken.

Snails are awesome. Especially with a creamy carlic sauce

I've eaten raw ants (The small black ones). Actually tastes pretty good, since they are kind of sour.
