RE: The One-Month Environment #1

The problem with the paintings is that they are gold-framed. They don't really fit a filthy tavern.

I was lazy and simply covered the frame with another painting.

That person standing on the balcony scared the living heck out of me. Wasn't expecting him, so when I saw him I jumped a little :p

If you want to add more, wood's bound to get stains on it in a bar :D - especially tables where groups would be sitting together and joking/bumping into each other/bumping other people/eventually bumping into drinks...

Bit of dirt on the floor around the outside doors could be helpful too. I'm just going through the checklist of stuff I try to add to my maps, so no need to apply what I'm doing. All just suggestions c:

Just a heads-up: I'm making my level, the problem is that it requires custom assets and it is in a rather special place... I will add a screenshot ASAP though Smile

I think you should try and reduce the tiling on the floor, and add some dirt decals and such around that fireplace or whatever you call it. Theres no way you can just you can ditch that much coal/dirt/ashes on the floor and have a black and white line between it and the clean floor. I also suggest switching the position of the billiard table and fireplace, as it seem that it would just set the bar on fire being so close to the wooden railings. And now that you have the extra space, maybe try building some sort of seperation between the wooden floor and the fireplace, since really even that will catch on fire easily. It could fx be a little concrete/rock elevation in the floor to have it on.

I think it's too cluttered. I can't imagine anyone being comfortable sitting there. Kinda reminds of an attic.
