End of Level 3 Sewers Loading Screen

Hi there, I've ran into a problem in between levels 3 to 4. My versions of Penumbra are from gamersgate and I have reinstalled twice now to an avail. I also renamed the hanging jpeg and still no dice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Thomas, thanx for the reply. Chahged the res on that file to 256 and then even tried deleting it as well. still no dice pretty stumped now. Is there a save available right after that screen possibly?

Now the game cannot create the save folders all of a sudden. This will also make the game crash. Make sure u have not change the write restriction for my documents. You running on Vista?

XP Home with Service Pack3. I deleted both programs again and redownloaded them from gamersgate then ran the updates. Replaced the res of hanging sewer growth to 256 and crash is the same. I dont get any errors when installing and Black PLague runs fine, have I possibly missed something Thomas?

If you have done anything new since you copied the contents of hpl.log above, then please get the crash again and print the contents.

I had a problem a few months back with Black Plague, so I lowered all the settings just to clear the screen then turned them back on once in the next level. I tried the same here still couldnt get past the screen.

That is not a crash log since you can see how the game exists as it should.

Also this is a major problem still:
