It's your own fault for releasing something that requires a work-in-progress patch, not FG's.

You'll simply have to wait for a stable verision.

And no, people rarely actually do jump up in excitement for a custom story, they're something people play to make the life of the base product longer, not invidivual games themselves, sometimes mod developers forget this and it's easy to fall in love with your own projects, believe me I know.

If it's a good mod, people will come around to it in time, just don't expect folks to be launching fireworks and bringing you gold nuggets.

Well.. I'm Traggey with this, you can't expect your AMFP asset mod work 100% right away, if you are using "Unstable patch" and many ppls are saying it's not working 100% for everyone or anybody at all.

You just have to wait or complain who made that patch, not Traggey because he's right what he said.

Also one of the reasons why you are not getting a lot of feedback is that even though your mod has a lot of work in it, installation is complicated as hell and the first version had gamebreaking bugs : /. I mean, I think most Amnesia players had to download at least the AMFP patch, then the mod itself, and if I am not mistaken the installation requires to change/rename some original Amnesia files.

I don't know a singe video game with such complicated installation : /.

And even though you are very proud of Premonition, I think the fact that it isn't as played as you expected is not a sign of this community falling apart...

I was going to play it yesterday but download was too slow then so I paused it.
But I see if I can play it soon, and hopefully if I have the time write a review of it. But no promises because these take time and thought to write.

It's totally fine if there isn't a lot of people playing it, it was amazing to make.
It'sjust the feeling i get, AMnesia isn't AMNESIA anymore...
Not so much peopl are interested anymore these days.

Yes the installation is a bit hard.
I will change that ASAP.
Tho..
A lot of people have been able to install it.
and if they have a issue i'll be there to help them out!
I will make a .bat file for the AmnesiaTest15111 orso..
So, there won;t be any "difficult" problems anymore for that.
About the patch.. EVERYONE has to install the patch later anyways how they have to do it now...
IF they want to play more "mfp " mods.
Let's see how that will end up.
This is also the last story for me.
Amnesia is done for me.
Walking further, i'll find something new to make.
Might be UDK or something where i can earn money.
Over 2 years and 100000 hours of work and 0 earned money
NOW i try to make money of what i love to do.
NOT sure if that ever will happen tho, we'll see..

I don't know if Amnesia is dying, it is probably true that the modding community is getting smaller or less active, but I think that the members that are still there have an incredible love for the game. And that is enough to keep a community alive :3.

Still, I can see a lot of forgotten projects on this forum and this is making me sad. But well, it's up to the new members like me to bring good mods <3 !

Daortir is so right, after releasing my ATSL project with nice popularity playing it, it's still so hard to make something unique different to make amnesia players play it and like it. I feel bad for dnlange anyway to do something really hard work.. and there are not so many players playing it. That was my mod after beginning "Investigator" and changed to Premonition and dnalange work a lot when that happens. Well overall I liked the mod, but still I hated some things what dnalange used on my mod, but that's my concern. I still wish dnalange best luck to many player playing this really put effort mod


I was wondering, when I have some free-time again I will make something different / unique mod for amnesia. But that's just to hope, I'm just now playing new / released mods and enjoy those.

Maybe some day I will start creating a mod again.

I will have fixed a lot of problems with the .exe \ .bat.
So, i'll make a new video also!
Fixed a lot of bugs and errors for the gameplay as well.
