True. Ever since I have cats I stopped worrying about flies, mosquitoes and related insects. My female cat is a true hunter, she even kills cockroaches (doesn't eat them though, fortunately).

and i taught my dog to find just about anything for me, that goof tracks down any animal when he's on the hunt, chases away all the foxes and other intruders that approach the house and is a pretty good protector.

But then again, some people dont need those things, so the cat vs dog discussion is pointless.
Just saying though, if you need something to beat boredom or cuddle with...kitten is a good choice. If you have any special purposes in mind such as hunting or herding or protecting your property...Go with the dog.

I understand what you mean. I live in an apartment so I have different concerns when choosing pets. I don't think dogs should live in apartments (except lap dogs).

Ha, dogs can also kill vermins, but they can also be vermin themselves.

EDIT: Same applies with cats too.

Googolplex just sent me over 5 pm's. Every each one of them contained the worst possible attempts at insulting ever, especially the last one which was in german lol.
