Because Minecraft is a big thing on YouTube, and music is also another big thing on YouTube, so you smash the two together and you get a mediocre video that gets a shit ton of views which leads to the creator getting a shit ton of cash.

So if I took PewDiePie, put his commentary over Minecraft montages, and then added in Call of Duty sounds, with rap music in the background, and suggestive thumbnails, and a house tour every day, I would get billions of views and be rolling in cash? Oh, and misleading titles too, like "PewDiePie GETS R4PED BY BRO! TENTACLE PR0NZ!" would help.

Does anyone think it's amazing that something one person says, even if they didn't necessarily mean it, can send you into depression?

Not really. Say someone that's been struggling with their weight and has been self conscious of it for a very long time and think that it makes them a bad person has someone that they respect come up and tell them "wow, you're really an ugly fat fuck". Yes, it is a pretty dumb thing to get depressed over, but if you already have low self esteem due to something like that to have someone come in and reassure that belief can really fuck with someone. Also, before someone tries to come in and tell me "well I went through something like that and I felt fine", I'll let you in on something here, NOT EVERYONE HAS THE SAME LEVEL OF MENTAL FORTITUDE. This is basic psychology people. If you really want to test this, go up to 100 random people and scream "Hey, fuck you" to all of them and I guarantee you almost all of them will react differently. This idea that everyone is a perfect mirror image of you psychologically that so many people seem to have is incredibly ignorant, and the amounts in which I've seen this kind of logic being used on this forum as of late has been driving me up the walls.

Sorry if that seemed like a huge response for such a small statement, but seeing as that other thread got locked just before I made this rant and you just so happened to post that little thing I decided it was a good opportunity, since that's been building up in me for quite some time now.

Out of curiosity, what web browsers are we using? I've been using Firefox since I found it and I find that the UI is sleek and easy to use, as well as the fact that there are so many skins that you can change it if it feels old.
