Tell me about it, just kids shows back then seemed to be a better quality and story telling than most today. Granted, things like Legend of Korra are the exception (for example).

No, it's just saying there's a correlation between the two, meaning that in general if you listen to certain artists/genres that can reflect how smart you are, but someone who listens to classical could still score at the very bottom and someone who listens to Lil Wayne could score at the top. It actually does make sense, to me at least. Certain genres/artists take a lot more patience and attention to get into, and those characteristics are generally linked to intelligence.
