Cause the user base there aren't ADD ridden 13 year olds that tl;dr everything that's over three paragraphs long. I submitted mine there and it got like 3 comments, 2 of which were basically "OMG TOO FUCKING LONG HOLY SHIT" and the other was triadtimes doing a kitty face, but then when I submitted it to CP people actually paid attention to it and gave me legitimate feedback if they thought it sucked. That might be due to the fact that there's only 1 story posted to CP every day (all of which are screened by a moderator before hand to make sure they're at least decent quality) and nosleep gets like 50+ a day, but also because like I said the average Reddit user has the attention span of a flea from my experience.

I mean I'm gonna assume yours is fairly well written (didn't actually read lol) and it only got 2 upvotes and no comments. It's seriously one of the worst places to go if you're an aspiring writer looking to improve your skills and get legitimate feedback.

Well, could you read it? I worked so hard.

I also took your advice and submitted it to CreepyPasta. I do have some doubts that it'll be posted since so much of the actual fear experience is through tone.

Yeah I was planning on checking it out in a bit, I've been really out of it lately so I haven't really been in the mood to do much of anything.

Mkay I read it, I can tell you put a ton of work into cause goddamn some of the language you used in it was well thought out. You definitely are able to create a really tense and creepy atmosphere, but it felt a lot like it was building up to what ended up being a rather anti-climactic end.

But yeah, overall I'd say it's pretty good. I wouldn't be worried about not being able to get into Creepypasta cause like I said they'll pretty much take any submission as long as it's at least slightly above average (seriously they have some really mediocre ones).
