RE: Random Stuff

Wouldn't say the ram is the issue just yet, might be the gpu, which one do you have?
And what kind of games do you play? There's not so many games that uses over 4gb of ram. Only the recent ones.

RE: Random Stuff

Try moving one of your games to your main hard disk and see if that lags. If it doesn't then it's a problem with the USB.

Also, RAM wouldn't necessarily cause this.

Clean out your computer give it a good dusting.

How much space is left on the EHDD/Regular HDD Try to keep at least 50-60 gigs open for normal computer usage (on each)

The hard disk is already plugged into the back of my pc, so that can't be it.

I'll dust it soon, thanks for the tip.

I have 360 GB free on my hdd, so I figured that should be plenty.

the gpu shouldnt be the problem. I'm using the GeForce gtx 780. I think it can handle almost every game..

I got the lag issues on max payne 3 (Which became so bad, it made the game unplayable.), nfs hot pursuit and metro 2033. Also some lag spikes on LoL, but I've had that forever.

That's the problem, I bought a small SSD for my OS. It has 22,8 GB free at the moment, and I'd like to keep it as clean as possible.

I'm going to upgrade to and internal HDD, so I'll see if that fixes it.

Regradless is ram the issue or not, i would recommend to double that amount, it's better for games and better in general, it's bottlenecking judging by the specs.
