I managed to cook so horribly today even my dog wouldn't eat my doings. I wonder what I did wrong? Added cyanide? What can go so awfully wrong with pasta and mince?

• Undercooked the meat

• Pasta was undercooked
  
• Pasta is overcooked
  
• Sause might not have worked with the pasta and/or mince
  
• Sause is too sweet/bitter
  

In every case, it had very "spirituos" taste for lack of a better word.
Or "fresh" like lozenge for sore throat. I know the word, but there's no direct English equvalent.

In Amnesia you can't even check if the player is crouching!! What's up with that?
I'm lacking some serious checks here...

Make your own checks. Maybe you can attach an invisible entity to the player, then attach an area to that entity, and check if the player is within that area or something.
