It'd just be stuff moving around when you're not looking and breathing sounds around corners. I promise it won't be "the suit of armor was there but now it's LOOKING AT YOU OOH SPOOKY"
To be quite honest, you can really do whatever you want We aren't designing to suit a particular overall theme as long as the element of "no other physical (human) beings" are around except you
I accommodate for this in my motel thingamajig with the insight into how some people lived through their belongings, room state and thoughts (diary entries), rather than the interaction of talking.

RE: Abandoned Town (Community Project)
If you're on a PC it's super duper simple, if not, well, you don't necessarily *need* amfp assets (since each person's building is its own map).
Anyways, for PC:
I'd suggest copying your amfp files for entites, decals, static objects, textures, etc to your desktop (or somewhere you prefer)... this could take a while since there's a few gigs of stuff
From this new copy, delete the .MSH and .ANM files
Merge these with the TDD folders but Do Not overwrite anything. AMFP does some weird shit to the TDD models if you let it overwrite.
Install the update (labeled 131111) and use that when you're making stuff with AMFP assets

RE: Abandoned Town (Community Project)
i tried it and messed up one of the steps some months ago, and now all my AMFP files are corrupted, and since I use steam, whenever i select 'delete local content' and reinstall, it just reinstalls it exactly the way it was

That's nothing to do with Steam. I don't see how that happens at all. Have you tried deleting the content yourself?
If you try again, don't forget a backup.

RE: Abandoned Town (Community Project)
I've got a park mostly done (needs a little more detail), got the layout of the city planned (on the side of my lecture notes XD) and started building it outwards.
I'll need to know what time of day we're doing for lighting and stuff c: I'd personally prefer night time because I've got some lovely trees on fire that contrast well with a dark blue-ish sky, but we can have the time change if that is what you prefer.

Oh man I build my bar with the idea that it's in the sunset! Should I just change my lighting or do you guys want some dynamic time thing?
