Oh man I build my bar with the idea that it's in the sunset! Should I just change my lighting or do you guys want some dynamic time thing?

That could be cool also.

I'm makin' em, I'll post a screenshot in here as soon as I get the chance to sit down at my computer :p
The outsides will be build with the amfp street assets using evening lighting (which will transition to night once the west side of the river's been cleared for access), the west side is currently built with the idea of having more houses on it.

Awesome!
Could you post a picture of one of my "potential" houses?

Oh yeah, I've been thinking, the two houses idea might be a bit too much for me to do while I'm still learning mapping, so I might just make a simple one house library.

Sounds reasonable - I'll update the list c:
Oh! And if you have any mapping questions, I'll gladly try to answer them I might not be the best mapper ever but I like being asked questions

Either way you should never make 100% dark, and it should always be able to explore without a lantern (Then tinderboxes is the key)

The lantern is help. It's not the solution.

Idk I think some sections can be 100% dark, it's fun to go in with a lantern and have whatever is in the shadows be lit up right in front of your face.

You just need to be fair with the player.
I'd say it's not about forcing the player into something he doesn't want. It's about making him choose to go there.

(fx. if he can see a light further ahead...)
