Attach the files main_settings.cfg and user_settings.cfg found under Documents\Amnesia\Pig to determine manually if the shadows are indeed disabled.

Are you sure you have actually disabled shadows from the in-game settings? Shadow quality & shadow resolution are indeed to the lowest possible value but shadows itself in enabled. I think you missed it's checkmark.

In game options the shadows are unchecked.

Maybe the game did not have correct privileges and kept the configuration files elsewhere in the mean time. The only possible location is

C:\Users\-YOUR-USER-NAME-\AppData\Local\VirtualStore

Try renaming the folder VirtualStore to VirtualStore_TEST for example. Run the game as an administrator and try the settings again.

I renamed it, deleted Pig from Documents\Amnesia, ran the game, un-checked shadows, but I still see the shadow in the menu from that vent.

Then that's how the game is built, maybe shadows always exist at some extent and by enabling it the effect becomes better looking. There doesn't seem to be any problem. Try lowering other settings, especially SSAO as I said.

Yes, that's right. SSAO disabled=a bunch of FPS. Thank you. But now I have to find a way to decrease my laptop temperature with some programs because I don't wanna open it's case. Ok..I think this problem is solved.

There are no programs to do that. It needs to be opened and cleaned (removal of dust) and possibly reapply cpu thermal paste. But as you said, that's off-topic. Problem solved, closed thread.
