RE: Modeling/Art non-related to Amnesia

I'm not used to environmental art painting yet, so this is a good step for me, in my opinion =P My sis asked me if I could do a more "realistic" interpretation of her character. She mainly draws in a subtle anime style.
Her left arm is broken.

The way it's drawn it looks like her arm is bent outwards and behind her, close to 180° from being straight forward, which isn't normally possible. How can you not see it?

Was this drawn by hand or using a tablet? Either way, I can't see an easy fix because you already did all the post-FX and shading.

I think it's because you highlighted the end of each metal padding, making it look like you are looking at something stretched back instead of from the front of it, the perspective kinda throws itself off.. The arm itself and the elbow looks fine to me.

Flipping canvas horizontally might help at seeing stuff like that. Put an easy keybind for it if you work digitally and use it often.

I tried to illustrate what I meant, it's kinda rough but I think it gets the idea through.

Also, the head and scythe are perpendicular to each other so the head couldn't possibly be reflected on it.

Much better. Good job on the correction Nackidno. I would've fixed it, but I'm at work :I
