Exclamation  Looking for someone to help with enemy snts

I need someone to help with my enemy snts. I'm trying to look for answers in the forums and the wiki but nothing is working! Sad

I am modding a retextured brutes sounds, I need help with my snts because when I try to fix them they just either sound like the original brutes or just won't work.

If you would like to know I use Windows, so nobody can get confused!

If you do have an answer, I'll try it immediately. If you request, I can also give you the link for the brute's game files!

If somebody can help me correctly they can get:
*1+ from me
*Get a place in the FC I'm working on (as either a cameo or a credit)

Thanks and good luck I suppose... Big Grin

What exactly is not working? Like, I know you mention that you have problems with the .snt files either playing the original or not working entirely, but is it because you have replaced the original sounds? Or perhaps because you haven't specified which sounds should be playing from the Model Editor?

It is because of me editing the sounds from the sound folder of my FC. I didn't edit any original sounds and I did specify the snts in the model editor. Its the snts that are the problem, everything else is fine! Tongue

Did you remember to replace the grunt in your map with the new editted grunt?

Trying is the first step to success.

I don't know if there's a difference but I'm working with the brutes sound files. And the problem is only the snt files, not the model itself.

Does your brute have a different name to servant_brute.ent (as an entity file, not the Level Editor)? Otherwise Amnesia may load the original Brute.

Have you also specified the location of the .snt files in your Resources.cfg file?

Yes, but the .snt's a tied to the model. Meaning that if you placed the wrong model ingame it will load that instead of the one you have editted ^^

That's what I'm trying to make sure you didn't do.

Trying is the first step to success.

OOOh, yes. I have done that, and again the snt is not playing properly.

Have you editted the ressources.cfg to point to your custom_stories folder?

Trying is the first step to success.
