Black Screen, Music plays, but no game

Like the title suggests, this is what happens when running the game from steam. i have tried updating my intel drivers, running the exec file in XP compatibility mode, updating steam and restarting etc and I still get a back screen with the music playing but nothing else happens

Likel the intel drivers for the integrated graphics have not successfully been updated. It is below the specified minimum requirements for the game and can be complicated to get working.

I personally had no issues other then low performance but I was one of the lucky ones.

Intel integrated graphics are hard for amnesia to work with, are you running the executable as an administrator as well?

You should also try turning down all graphics to a minimum level on the pre-menu screen


Also you should post your HPL log here. You'll find it in your documents/amnesia folder
