I've always loved Pulp Fiction. It's drama and action based from what I can tell.

Dredd, a movie that gets everything right when it comes to action movies. It doesn't hold back, a better RoboCop movie than the newest RoboCop, the action is visceral, the acting is well done, and Rookie Anderson has possibly the best arc I have seen from a female character.
