I highly doubt posting the images will be of any problem, this is FG's personal forum after all.

RE: The Ultimate SOMA Discussion Thread

Although they're FG's pics, they seem to be exclusive to this magazine (for now, at least) so their copyright status is probably slightly different, and print-screening the PDF is likely a violation of copyright regardless of what the image contains. But I doubt it's something EDGE will be too upset about in this case
Screenshot 01 | Screenshot 02 | Screenshot 03 | Screenshot 04
The quality of the images isn't great, but it's exactly how they appear in the magazine. The 2nd pic has a small section on the top-right which looks like it shouldn't be there - this is because one of the other screenshots was overlapping it.

Here is the complete article that Paddy mentioned I think, without high-res screenshots, though.

"In Soma, we don’t show the monsters to the player very much, so there is never really any time to figure out how
they work."

This is an excellent design. And also the major problem of most other horror games like Outlast, which is really scary though and not a bad game at all, but I totally dislike to see the monsters jumping into your face. I always prefer when the real "danger" is just in the player's mind.

This is getting tiresome now - another one-paragraph snippet from that interview:
PS4 Console Exclusive SOMA May Come To Xbox One, Reason Behind Current Console Exclusivity Explained
Frictional Games’ Thomas Grip on SOMA’s PS4 exclusivity and a potential Xbox One version.
http://gamingbolt.com/ps4-console-exclus...-explained
GamingBolt really are shameless.

Somebody may have already explained this, but I'm wondering how they will implement the interact controls of soma into the DS4 controller. Can't imagine playing amnesia without a mouse!

This is what I'm also thinking.
Hopefully the PC version will not get dumbed down in the controls just because to make it playable on consoles!

RE: The Ultimate SOMA Discussion Thread

There's another SOMA article in the latest GamesTM magazine (issue 156). Again, nothing new is said/shown, but the release date is listed as Q1 2015:

It also mentions that FG were originally developing their next game for the Xbox 360 haha.
