Mouse stuck in top left corner of screen (spinning in circles)

Hello, I have the game downloaded through steam. the launcher and main menu work fine, but once I start the game all I can do is look up and spin left. I tried downloading and replacing the SDL.dll to version 1.2.15.0 but the problem still persists. I uninstalled the game and re installed it. I also deleted the folder from my documents that holds the save files and launcher. It is becoming very frustrating. Please help ha.

If I recall correctly, this problem is related to gaming controllers. Do you have any joysticks or gaming controls plugged into your computer? If so, try removing them and seeing if the problem persists.

Edit: Just realised you said "mouse stuck". You can still try the above method if you are able, but it may not work.
If you run the game in windowed mode, can you look freely?

Nope, I have the same problem even in windowed mode. Also, I have nothing connected to any usb ports. Thanks for the suggestions though. I hope I'm able to get this fixed soon.

Okay, so I figured it out. It was a driver from my Wii U GCN adapter that was causing this. How weird ha. anyways, Im glad I can enjoy my game again. Thanks for suggestions and help.
