RE: pre-order ?
I'm guessing it will be either this friday (one calendar month before release) or next Tuesday (4 weeks until release)
Remember, although no longer a small indie developer, they're still small compared to a lot of other developers. All their resources are probably tied up in making sure the game is a good as it gets, for release. Also, larger games have earlier pre-orders, because they can afford to put it out earlier for pre-orders.
AAA title like Fallout 4 Pre-order six months plus in advance
Title like SOMA which is still kind of Indie, much less.

Yeah, I can understand them even if it will be two weeks or even a WEEK before release.

RE: pre-order ?
Their games has always had about a one month timeframe before launch when their respective pages and pre-orders begin. And GOG already has a SOMA page ready too.

RE: pre-order ?
I'ma take a bet and say Saturday, on the twenty-second of august, which is exactly a month before SOMA releases, right?

Didn't FG said pre-order will be up in 1 month before release?

RE: pre-order ?
They've been reiterating "soon!" on their twitter the past day. So either end of this week or beginning of next week.
Not sure if it's something they need Valve to put up or if they can do it automatically. Otherwise it probably won't happen on a weekend.
And as for price. I'm guessing $30 tops. It's their biggest game so far and they've worked on it for so long. Maybe have a pre-order discount as well.
