I'll be looking forward to adding more to the wiki once I get to know some tips and tricks Tongue

Sorry to be a nag, but are the HPL3 tools posted? I can't seem to find the download link anywhere.

I have the same concern. Downloading via Steam for PC now in case it's that it's not currently available for Mac.

UPDATE: sure enough, it's PC exclusive for now. Tongue

By default, they are included with SOMA.

Your directory for SOMA should, by default (at least, for Steam) should be here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SOMA\

The editors are in that folder.

Having it come with the game is super convenient and probably makes it easier if there needs to be any patches. Can't wait to get into it, been wanting to see all the changes since your blogs started popping up.

I can't find SomaDev.bat file in the game directory Huh

https://wiki.frictionalgames.com/hpl3/game/setup

Want to piggyback this as I cannot find this file as well. What did the .bat add to the exe? Also, where is the main mod directory the game looks for mods in? (When doing "Play Custom Content")

Creator of Wake, Through the Portal, Insomnia, and Cycles What to do with HPL3....

Ah you don't need it, it makes sure you have the correct settings for the user_settings file.

Make a plain text file, type Soma.exe -user Dev -cfg config/main_init_dev.cfg and save as SomaDev.bat in the SOMA directory, next to Soma.exe. That should be it.
