I can't fully see the game

First of all, I want you to know that I have letterbox screen, and not wide screen.
The max res of the letterbox screen is 1280x1024

Now the problem is that maybe because I have that small screen It won't fully show the game?

By saying that I mean that if it's a regular wide screen main menu:



This is what I'll see with the letterbox screen:



In the settings my resolutions is on max (1280x1024). Although somehow I can choose even higher resolutions (like 1850x1457).

Is there any way to fix it?

I've rrun the game with as little as 640x480 so the size should not matter.

Right-click desktop, Screen resolution, then click "Make text and other itmes larger or smaller" and make sure slider is all the way to the left or that 100% is selected (it can look a bit different).

Checked it, it is on 100%

I think my screen is just too old. It's a 6-7 years old screen.

Try going down on the resolution until it fits the screen without zoom

It doesn't change anything.

EDIT: The right res for me is 1280x800 but now it's like a movie when I have 2 black clipping from above and below the screen.

Well, that's because I have letterbox screen.
