Weird grafic glitches also on iMac Late 2012, Geforce GTX 675MX 1024 MB, but love the game, too bad they rushed it.

Will there ever be a patch? It's almost been 3 months and still nothing.

Rename the undergrowth folder in the game folder to _undergrowth. This will disable rendering of the terrain vegetation (which it looks like is the problem)

Thanks mate! That works!!

For Mac users, you can right click soma on steam, click "properties" and find browse local file to locate soma files on your mac and change the file name!

After that I got a lot of graphical glitches, weird textures popping in and out, and it was basically unplayable. The game did not crash but I had to quit since it was basically impossible to move, the game would freeze intermittently. Immediately after quitting the game my system locked up (spinning beachball) and I was forced to hard reboot.

PS I tried to attach the log file directly to this post but it told me the file was too large, so here is a direct link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/60341/hpl.log

I'm experiencing the same thing with my new iMac, AMD Radeon R9 M390. Any word from Apple yet? The game ran perfectly on my old iMac and I'm in the mood to play it again Sad

Is anyone at Frictional Games working on a patch or are you still waiting for a fix from Apple. A status update would be nice.

I was checking the Mac App Store for a patch and noticed the game was no longer available. In fact all games by Frictional Games disappeared from the Mac App Store (It's the german store). Is this permanent or will they be back? Thankfully i still have the game installed Smile
