Game shows only blackness

So I am able to run the game fine on my Windows PC, but I tested it on my Mac and the result was that the entire game was black, never showing anything, but functioning fine in the background. Though, because of this I was unable to navigate anything. I can hear the sounds of the game and go through the menus, but I cannot see anything but black.

I'll attach the log, but to close the game, I had to tab out and force it down, so it ends pretty abruptly. Any ideas? It was a fresh download, but it was before the update that was sent out not long ago. Currently doing an integrity check.

Update: Integrity succeeded but did not fix the issue.

Hmm maybe it has to do with the resolution the game tries to use. Try the attached settings.

~/Library/Application Support/Frictional Games/SOMA and then name it the same as the folder and place it next to the folder.

I'll test it in a couple hours once I get home.
For reference, the Mac (iMac 2012 I think, 10.8) I was running it at has a native resolution of 2560x1440, which I guess was set to the game when I started it. I later tried running it after setting the system's resolution to 1920x1080 but I assume the game still tried to run at the first resolution if it was saved to the file.

Sorry for DP, but just updating:

After testing now, I am unable to even start it. It immediately goes to a crash of "Quit unexpectedly." The log stops right after "Version 1.01 HPL log". I've made no changes to the setup that I'm aware of, except try the file you provided, however I don't think it caused the issue because I'm still crashing if I put back the one I had, or even delete the entire SOMA folder in Application Support/Frictional Games. I also validated the files on Steam to no success. Not sure what's up now.

Update: It looks like others have issues now as well. Perhaps the lastest update to the Mac version actually broke it.

Who else is having this issue? There is a crash issue with external monitors not solved yet, but have not seen any other crashes so if you have links to provide that would be great.

Correct. Single monitor. It's somewhat odd because to start off with, I was able to at least launch the game (albeit being black), but now not.

Come to think of it, I guess it's worth mentioning I have an AMD card in there. I heard there were issues with them on Linux. My card is an AMD Radeon HD 6970M.
