UPDATE:
The patch so no LIVE! No need to change branch!
Just restart steam and make sure it updates.
BuildID: 788777

The PC 1.01 Beta is now live on Steam.

To get it do the following:
  1. Right click on the SOMA in the steam game list.
  2. Choose properties
  3. Click on the BETAS tab
  4. In the drop-down menu, select "public_beta"
  5. Restart steam and make sure SOMA updates
  6. Once update is over, right click on the SOMA in the steam game list and choose properties again.
  7. Click on the Local Files tab
  8. Check so BuildID is 788777
  9. Now you can start the game again

The patch addresses the following issues:
  • Stuttering frame-rate
  • SOMA refuses to start
  • Crashes at various places
  • Stungun not functioning at lambda
  • Missing levers / cabinet doors.

Please let us know below if the patch solves the issues you are having.

If it does not. Please attach:
- hpl.log file (from "My Documents/My Games/SOMA/Main/")
- Save file from where the issue is (found in "My Documents/My Games/SOMA/Main/SteamUserName/)

Unless additional issues are detected with this patch, it will go live in the release branch tomorrow! (and be sent to GOG).

The PS4 Patch will come late next week as we first need to send it through certification.

It won't let me attach a save file (says the file size is >100K) but my HPL.log is attached.

I get a crash during the interaction with Cathryn. It happens just after entering my omnitool into the reader.

Since launch, I haven't been able to access SOMA. It always goes to SOMA.exe not working. I got 788549, but it's still not working.
The add attachment doesn't seem to be working for me.

Hasn't helped with my vsync issues. I still get harsh tearing with vsync on.

My log file is attached.

Ive only got 7 minutes play left before my steam refund option runs out. Probably just be able to squeeze in a couple more tests before I have to give up. Heres hoping a not to distant update can solve the issue.

This didn't resolve my issues. Soma.exe still crashes. I joined the public beta on Steam and the file version now shows: 788777.

Attached is my hpl.log and also an error log from Windows that Soma.exe is generating each time it fails.

Note - I have followed all the instructions in other threads and have verified my AMD drivers are up to date.

I am able to launch the game fine on a laptop with Intel integrated graphics, but it's not playable, due to hardware.

Please help, I would really like to play this game on a gaming desktop.

Thank you.
