.voice file error

Well aparently when i go into the SOMAdev mode, and i go to hit load game and stuff i see my file, which the name of it is Test map, so when i go to launch it it says at the bottem left "skipping map specific voice file 'maps/Test map.voice', not found!", any help?

Is there an issue though? Do you need this file?

idk honestly i had 4 other friends who made maps on the workshop and they tried to help me and it just doesn't work

This error means you don't have a voice file, or there is some issue with it, like it having the wrong name or something.

.voice files are used for storing some dialogue settings, and initially generating subtitles in the .lang file.

If you don't have any dialogue in your map then everything is fine.


Really anything that shows up in the lower left corner is not something you should have to worry about, only if you see something related not working the way it should from your point of view. it's up to you to decide whether or not it's an error.

The only errors you with certainty must deal with, are the ones going "pling" and preventing you from launching the map script.

you are not giving me a lot of info to work with. you have not even told me if you have voices in your story at all, neither exactly what you did to fix this supposed error

Theres no voices in it at all, its just a single room thing i was just testing stuff and it didn't work

then there is nothing wrong. if the "error" annoys you so much to look at, disable debug messages.
