Dead music is valuable, they can't make anymore of it. Same goes for bands that drastically change their styles and fall off a cliff. Yes if you're a loyal fan you stay with the bands. I prefer living in denial and staying with the music.

I do have to say I do prefer when a band I like breaks up before they get a chance to run out of creativity and start putting out shitty music though... Cause that's always just depressing to watch.greendaygreendaygreenday

I feel like I'm the only person ever that finds Godspeed You! Black Emperor to just be boring and way overhyped. The whole point of music is that it rises and falls, it builds up through the course of an album or song and then releases, whereas their music never has that release. It's just... Bleh. I dunno, I've just been fed up with every music site I go to treating them like musical gods.
