Alright, I'll give them another chance. It's entirely possible I listened to the worst Chopin pianist in the world play them as I found them entirely lacking the intensely passionate, personal nature of his solo piano works.
Anyway, regarding Beethoven: All of his piano sonatas are regarded as masterpieces but some of them are quite romantic, especially his later works. Prime example is the famous "Hammerklavier" sonata (No. 29):
It's important to note that even though Beethoven is regarded as the first great Romantic composer he was always a Classicist and his piano sonatas are not nearly as romantic as say Chopin or Liszt. But you will hear many romantic elements that came much later into common use in a more developed form. It's not impossible that Beethoven pioneered many of them.
Anyway, some more piano sonatas to check out:
No. 8 "Pathetique" - One of his most famous, my favorite movement is no 2 (adagio cantabile) personally, which has much more warmth than any other Beethoven piece IMO.
No. 14 "Moonlight" - Obviously the most famous one. Each movement is a classic but my favorite is movement 3 (presto agitato). I actually think it may be the best piano piece from the Classical era, although I am no authority; it is a phenomenal work.
No. 29 "Hammerklavier" - Also very good, reputedly one of Beethoven's most difficult piano sonatas. Probably the most Romantic of all of them (although I still haven't listened to sonatas 30-32).
No. 18 - Very memorable main theme, also quite Romantic in nature.
Apart from these, all of them are worth listening to, as with all Beethoven. But these are the most famous ones, the ones that are most often performed. I urge you to check them out.

I'm enjoying it, but it's not hard to see how it could go under the radar. I love ambient electronic stuff. But, this is far from an easy listen.
Oh yeah I can understand why it went unnoticed, I was just kinda of disappointed by it. I mean I already listen to a loooot of really weird an inaccessible music, but usually when it comes to that kind of stuff it at least has a small following of other people that can appreciate this sort of stuff. But when looking into this one, I hardly found anything (I mean like I said just look at the views), which is disappointing cause I know a good deal of people would probably be just as blown away with this album as I am if they knew it existed.

Ever listen to Atheist? The absolute best jazz-metal fusion you will find.
Then there's this German band called Panzerballett which has a tenor sax player, they play same fusiony type stuff, bordering on metal most of the time. Great stuff.
