Penumbra Overture:... FATAL ERROR

hi,

i´ve got a problem with penumbra overture.
When i take chemical in the chemical Storage then comes the black screen and:.... "FATAL ERROR: couldn´t load image ´inventory_Chemical_A(B,C,D,E,F).bmp´!"

What can i do

It seems that the item is missing the image for the item in your inventory you can try reinstalling

actually I'm having the same issue with the mining machine key and I purchased the game from steam. Is there a way to fix this that doesnt involve reinstalling?
