It's the third on the Top Sellers tab on Steam. I think/hope that'll get a lot of exposure

Two links i've seen today that are worth spreading around:
http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2010/09/...k-descent/
Quote:That this was made by a five-man team who built their own engine is bewildering. At around ten hours long, that it’s £13 (and discounted currently to pre-order for tomorrow’s release on Steam, GamersGate, and presumably elsewhere) is amazing value. If you pre-ordered it, you can start pre-loading now via Frictional’s site. I cannot recommend it enough. So long as you don’t mind being utterly bloody terrified.

Quote:The game’s been rather a financial struggle for the small independent developer, whose previous game – the three-part Penumbra series – was something of an overlooked gem. “We have had to cut salaries almost in half – and they were low to start with,” said Grip. And the troubles aren’t over just because the game’s finished: “Our future as a company depends on this game not flopping, so plenty of butterflies in the stomach.”

RE: Help us get exposure! (updated: 7th Sept 2010)

There, I sent a message to my favorite game review website (jeuxvideo.com in french) putting some pressure for them to review Amnesia as quickly as possible! Hope this grain of sand will help you guys at FG a bit, for what I'm concerned, you deserve to make more than just enough to break even, all I hope is you get a ton of dough for some nice hoilidays and to reinvest in your next atmospheric adventure game!
All the best to you FG!

here's what I sent:
