Redeon problems

The game opens fine on Radeon x1950XT but when in the game it will not play or it's very, very slow -5FPS at lest. I have use all low settings and it's not helping.

Can't use never driver because that GPU was retired from ATi and still runs many games just fine.

I don't mean any offense but, once the company that makes the card has dropped support, don't you think it's time to upgrade?

I've got a radeon 4850. Not exactly top of the line Wink

but it runs this game beautifully on almost all high settings. I'm actually pretty shocked that it does. Most games that look this good I'd be stuck at medium, maybe a couple high. (For an extreme example, I DLd Cryostasis while waiting for Amnesia, and that thing just will not run at anywhere near a reasonable resolution).

Granted, that game is wicked poorly optimized. This game is the opposite!

This card is capable of running many new games just fine with Windows 7 driver but support was dropped by driver i guess so. Maybe HD 2900XT then, family system only use Mercedes S class GPU not some hotrod Geforce.

Man you can run the game with x1950xt it has to Big Grin

Disable imageTrail effect as many suggested and try to update to catalyst v10.2 legacy drivers for X series of Ati
Which driver do u use ??

The game start with that cave but then when subtitles show up in the game it gets stuck or something, i will try without subtitles then. I have already set to off all settings...

Yes i have disable that "ImageTrail" and enable all other to max and it works!

But still game start with some bad logos, half missing or something.

Thank you, next time do some better profiles OK.

@blazpristy I believe there have common problem for all radeon X cards if you stick with all these threads. yup, if you disable ImageTrail game run well but still mess with the logos and J, M, esc buttons.
