Crash on opening menus

Solved: 8 Years, 7 Months, 1 Week ago Crash on opening menus

The game works fine for me except whenever I try to open any menu (journal or esc menu for example) the game freezes up and crashes with no error message. I've updated all my drivers and whatnot the right way but no luck.

The likely reason is that you have an X-Series ATI card and this is a known issue that Frictional are looking into...

I have an X1800xt with this problem and have just played as far as I can without accessing menus / journals / etc Tongue

Atlas: Try updating drivers. HD 2300 should have new fresh drivers (I have a 2600 myself)

And for the rest of you: Yes, it is that X-series bug! Sad But I will do my best to try and fix it!

Thankyou Thomas,hope you can fix this X-series bug.Nice game,Cannot play.I have 3 computer's
with the x1950 Ati,1 with the Ati X1950 Pro 512mb,and 2 with the Sapphire Radeon 256mb.Unplayable on all 3 computer's.They all have the latest driver 10.2,I tried earlier driver's all the same.No menus,locks up,unplayable.Keep in touch,hope you can fix this,Thankyou.

Sadly the mobility HD 2300 is not supported by ATI Sad but I've updated my drivers to omega and used the mobility modder, and still having problems with crashes when opening menus, journals, etc...Ill just wait patiently for the patch.
