ATDD: Savegames Gallery

Noticed that many ppl getting stuck and asking for savegames, so, here is a collection of my savegames that contains a lot of savefiles without any order. Good thing is that they automatically named by the game, so, you will not get lost.

Place them there:
Windows: X:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\Amnesia\Main\%gameprofile_name%\
Linux: ~/.frictionalgames/Amnesia/Main/%gameprofile_name%
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Frictional games/Amnesia/something/

where:
X = system drive (where is your OS installed)
%USERNAME% - your Window's username
%gameprofile_name% - you profile name in the game.

Note: those savefiles can be... surprisingly in some way, because I included ALL my savegames, even the "tricky" ones.

I'm not quite sure if nix<->win versions are backward compatible, barely doubt they are. Anyway, nix-users perfectly know their system and requires no advices (I don't have linux version but I bet it's somewhere in ~/.amnesia)

Linux saves are compatible with the backwards OS Windows. Tongue

Yeah, I just opened one of them today and there was XML-like plain text structure which is awesum.

Well, ya'now... I can't upload it on frictional's servers coz of obvious reasons ;P
Oh, and any forum's attachments requires registration (in order to download), so... No so much of choice.

Can anyone think of a reason why I can't use the saves, I download them and put the file "amnesia_saves.7z" in "C:\Users\Adam\Documents\Amnesia\Main\Adam" but I cannot access the saves in-game. What am I doing wrong?!

Because you need to unpack the 7z file with 7-zip archiver.
