Great work!
Thanks again.
I simply prefer the mansion tiles to any of the other ones, what I really dislike is the tunnel crawl torture chamber type sets, so the majority of the mansion will be made from the mansion tileset.

That's my favourite too. My favourite parts of the main game are the Archives, Study and guest bedroom.

Will there be servants' quarters (kitchen, cellar etc)? If so, they might work better with a less elegent-looking visual style, if you know what I mean.

Either way, as I've said, I really like what you've got so far.

Wow - what a mansion!

Gee, you two nailed it: mansions are the best; tunnels suck.
Looking forward to this mod

Oh I dunno'. There's nothing wrong with a dark, scary tunnel. I definitely agree with you that mansions are cool though. I really like stuff set inside haunted / mysterious mansions.

I too am looking forwards to playing this.

I may have exaggerated a little there. Tunnels really aren't all that bad. Pretty cool actually. But compared with great mansions riddled with secret passages and lonely rooms...

Yes the servants quarters in the east wing will look a little more shabby, the wine cellar will be using the same tiles from Amnesia, but as the area will be pretty small a huge tunnel crawl won't occur there.

Sorry for taking a while but I've made good progress on the the ground floor of the West wing.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRsAXOhghsg
This wing features the dining room and guest bedrooms, I've been a bit obsessed with the detailing of this section so that's why I'm making slower progress BUT at-least I'm happier with the prop placement.

Looks like a very light and detailed map, though the light 'circles' tend to look artificial.

Very promising map, please go on!
