ATI Mobility X2330, Anyone?

I tried Penumbra Overture EP1 Demo and I obtained a solid 50-60 fps with
default settings but medium shader quality at 800*600.

Well, that means you can play Amnesia too. Close Fraps, and try to disable every advanced graphic options and try again. My friend closed ever fancy feature.

No! It doesn't work! Which CCC (catalyst control center) settings have your friend? O.S.?

I try the settings suggested for penumbra (http://support.frictionalgames.com/entry/70/) but nothing changed. Any other idea? Jens? Thomas?

He's using Windows Vista and turned off every advanced feature from CCC and game itself. But he's playing on very low resolutions.

so, long story short, I haven't any problems on my PC: Amnesia is not 'playable' on a ATI MOBILITY X2300! :'''(

finally I played Amnesia with this settings:
resolution: 800x480 fullscreen (5:3 ~ 16:10)
texture quality: medium (impossible to solve an enigma with low quality)
shadow quality: low
shadow resolution: low
texture filter: nearest
SSAO: on
edge smooth: off
world reflection: off
anisotropy: off
SSAO resolution: medium
SSAO samples: 4
parallax: off

despite this settings it was a very scary experience! after playing amnesia I had to play an hour of super meat boy before go to bed! Smile

last question: is it possible to enable subtitles (english or italian) for developer commentary? are there any transcriptions of these commentary on internet?
