Solved: 7 Years ago SSAO/Antialiaisng Problem

The game was running and looking fine until I started up my computer this morning. I went to play the game and I noticed objects from far away were unnaturally blurry and when I moved my camera view, thin objects would slightly disappear and reappear while bigger objects had parts of that object disappear and reappear. Almost like antialiasing was not working, but x5. Also, I do not think the SSAO was working correctly because the object were waaaaay to blurry. As if far away textures were not running according to my resolution but to a lower resolution, like a mix between two resolutions (mine is 2560x1440). I even turned these options to highest settings and eventually off to see if it would help, to no avail. I do not understand at all what happened because all was fine and dandy for YEARS until today when I woke up and played the game. Then everything went south with the SSAO and antialiasing.

Ah okay, could you get me your HPL.log file too please?

You would have to try and reinstall the game then, it shouldn't affect any save files as those are housed in a separate folder within your documents.

Tried that, didn't work. Currently looking further into it because now it is happening with my other games too D: Guess it is my graphics card but changed literally NO settings when it started acting up. But if there any further suggestions on how to fix this issue even though it is no longer strictly Amnesia that would be appreciated Smile.

Of course!

It sounds like a driver issue at the moment, I wouldn't go and assume the hardware is dead. Check for an update, and if there isn't one, reinstall your current version.
