Game Crashed! Exception_Access_Violation

My game wont start. When I try it says,

!!!GAME CRASHE!!! READ THIS:
Something is wrooooong!
If all fails go to http://support.fictionalgames.com/for more info

Exception Reason
Amenisa.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module
Amnesia.exe at 001B:00000000

What does that mean???? I tried downloading new drivers and it didn't work. I need help. Please???

Attach hpl.log found in "My Documents/Amnesia/Main" and we will look into it!

A quick google search lead me to several mentions of RAM. are you running on low ram? that could be the problem. you cold download game booster 2 which is a nice tool that shuts down background processes and frees up ram. or upgrade ur ram (which is way easier than it sounds!)

I downloaded a game booster as suggested and it didn't work. Is there a way to upgrade my RAM for free? I'm starting to think I should just return the game till I get a newer computer.

I am afraid you have an Intel card which, as far as we know, does not run the game. So I am afraid your only option is to get another graphics card or run on another computer.

I found a site that upgrades it. do you know if that will work?
