Help - button press bug

Hello,

Playing through SOMA, but as I am going down to the abyss with Catherine in the climber, a bug occurs. When I have to press the button on top of the climber to reset the power, it refuses to be clicked; only the icon for swinging the lid appears.

I have reset SOMA, validated the steam files, loaded an earlier save and tried again, all to no avail

What to do?

Do you perhaps have a video of this? If not, could you link another gameplay video and pinpoint at which point your game stops working as intended?

Here it is. It should load just before he presses the button I mean. But like i said, all I can do is wiggle the cover back and forth, sadface.

Hmm. Well if you're sure you can't progress, I can only suggest you run a Steam integrity check and try loading an earlier save. Have you tried that?

Edit: I forgot you put that already in your OP. My bad.

How long ago did you backtrack from saving? You should go back to your latest Omicron save so that the entire elevator scene reloads and continue from there.

If it continues to fail, let me know and I'll provide a save for you.

Yeah, I tried that as well, went back to before Catherine locks the door to the diving room, and then proceded from there..No luck.

Well, I fixed it. Pressed the area around the button and on the button A LOT. Ten thousands clicks later, and I got it going. Finished, great game! ;D
