SOMA Isn't Booting Up

I'm having some major issues with my copy. I bought this PC yesterday, reinstalled Steam but can't play the copy of SOMA I bought. I need an administrator's help immediately plz.

Hey there. It seems I can't access your log file. You are allowed to simply paste it here, or upload it here when you make a new post.

You don't need to, since we allow the posting of log files here.

You can open the hpl.log file with any text editor application, and just paste the contents here as a post. Or you can press the New Reply button under this post in the bottom right corner and attach the log file to your post as a file.

I am not a particularly great user of dropbox either except on my phone, which cannot access your link either.

My web browser is preventing me from doing it for some reason

I believe the file size limit for uploading directly to the forum is 100 KB which is not a lot. What you can do instead is open the log file with Notepad and just copy / paste the contents over into a comment.

Do it like so:

Okay, here's what i got as far as the intel on my setup. I'm running Windows 8 on a Dell with an Intel Core i3 and it has an Intel HD Graphics 4000 display. I am getting a GLSL Shader error in the log even though my graphics card is up-to-date. I am really confused. Could i run SOMA in windowed mode at all? I ask since i ran into this problem quite a few times with KotOR 1 and 2 from Steam
