valve is missing

hello my friend got a small problem with amnesia the dark descent.

when he gets to the part where he needs to remove some water by turning off some valves then he got a missing valve O-o its not there but we have seen videos that shows it being there without the player having to put it on themself. we just got a empty spot... any advises on what to do? (apart from reinstalling the game that is... would be annoying to have to redo it all again:p)

Try reloading an earlier save from before you first enter that area.

I think you need to re-install the game or verify cache integrity (if using Steam) as the missing valve is likelu due to a missing/corrupt file(s). Saved games are not deleted on a re-install!
