				Both games are scary, but Amnesia is more because there's no weapon and the enemies are more scary.

Don't forget that ammo is barely even a concern in Dead Space, which was one thing that System Shock 2 and the early Resident Evils used pretty well to increase the scare factor. I'm not immune to jump scares. 
There's no such thing as a "jump scare", as there is no fear involved.  It's simply exploiting our instinctual reaction to things popping out of nowhere and making loud noises, which is being startled by them.
